What does lab lacks that a forum would bring?

I'm not sure setting it all ourselves is not overkill (or too time consuming).

To be complete, we keep the forum open for archival reasons, but the discussion has completely move to irc, wiki, mailing lists and now lab (not that we decided it, it just happened :-) ).

Mimemail module is disabled, so the rule was not working. Switched to sending simple email (without the need for mimemail)

My suggestion to make this more efficient, and also to learn to work together would be work on the open source page together in a google doc, then when all feedback is gathered, to update the open source page on the live website.
