The reason it is hard to join the Apertus community in a way that is meaningful to being beneficial in any way is not the lack of a CoC.
Drawing attention and doing meaningful things with it fails because there is no landing page explaining why the project is different.
For what little impact I have had, I really want to avoid contributing anything to a CoC-project. Also making that landing page and
trying to reorganize the wiki turned out to be unwanted effort, so maybe I am wrong and this CoC is the sign of a project that really
knows what it is doing, and there is a real community behind it.

CHANGES TO TASK DESCRIPTION
Nov 5 2018
So I am answering in a context where this CoC already applies?
I don't really care to read it extremely carefully, for the same reason I think it fails already in general at this point of entry.
Why is this needed, and what does it do?

@sebastian I have an extremely boxfresh https://www.crowdsupply.com/numato-lab/opsis

I will be there too.

How about this:

There is still airflow if the fan is on, it circulates internally. Magasinating, or loading, whatever thermal capacity there is there.
If the dissapation air-alu-air is good enough, then maybe.
Well not if you use it as a still camera for just a quick image. (?)
Or if you are outside in sufficiently cold weather.
But yes, even if "always" having to remove the lens, is it still not a better solution?
OK, so i shouldnt have used a lenscap to illustrate, and rather a camera cap. That being said, the fan is also the wrong way, but we are seeing the camera from above.
Would it be possible to add a lenscap as a cover for the fan?

@sebastian Make a Norwegian Bokmål branch and ill see how well it works. I do a lot of translation work.

Could just use transifex, it used to be foss, but now im not so sure. It does work very well though.

Even for those that can afford the full camera, an "expendable" solution makes sense. A case that survives in most cases, for the time when risking the main rig becomes too much of a gamble. Bonus for making it light.
Staying within the realms that make for what the axiom beta is, i dont think the recorder solution should be too heavy or loud to handle along with it.

Can this be uploaded to a -wip page so that i can submit changes for review?
Nov 13 2014
@sebastian The images that are there are not relevant to conveying this information. Links are blue to emphasize that they are links.
Any changes you want made?
Nov 12 2014
Mailing lists suck a bit for finding information, they work better for "official" correspondence in larger projects. Often in a semi-direct manner.
It should make sense for blind people.
I dont think the forum should close, only that development should be moved out of it. The forum is nice to have when people get their devices, if its just open now it will continue to build for when its needed.
Nov 11 2014
Fixed. I'd like to fix the translator guide in similar fashion, but since i havent translated anything at apertus yet ill leave that for later. Currently trying to bring major change to some pages, translations thereof to follow.
Nov 10 2014
I had a go at it. https://www.apertus.org/node/64
I dont think that is simple enough to rely on for everyone to just pick up and use. I would see a point in having something besides the proposed structure if things fit into more than one category.
Ok, what page should it be uploaded to?
An effort that lists the pages that are on the wiki at a given time means there is some level of overview into everything. Also it makes for little effort spent organizing, and helps with avoiding errors in structure.

Super duper thanks :)))) My changes went live right away on the FAQ page, latest two revisions are made by me.
Dont know how to review changes yet.

Can i get access to it? https://apertus.org/user/632
Nov 4 2014
First appears to be https://apertus.org/sites/default/files/Enclosure.gif

I cooked up this little update that can be sent out to backers:
The power to overthrow is at no point given away. We all have to put trust in the operators of the apertus company, because if they arent trustworthy, any and all endeavours are flawed anyway.
Nov 2 2014
I mean this https://www.apertus.org/home-wip which is the result of working the message thats within the realm of the google doc document down to something manageble, and then refining it.
Nov 1 2014
Sure, invite me and i can take note of what needs to change, im unsure if you get the formatting on google doc though, so its not a full fledged solution.
Have to wait for the revisionism plugin to drupal to be implemented for that i think.
The point i was trying to make is i need admin rights to delete anything. The comment is in the edit log, atleast thats the way to do it.
my {{delete|comment}} got eaten since the template didnt exist.
Ok, but the content that i see a problem with is still problematic. To the point where i just flat out changed it.
I would like to be website editor. I can manage the effort to simplify and improve the communication, and also help new members to do the same.
Oct 31 2014
Just add it to the campaign site.
I can help out, send me a BoM-list.
Sounds like a valuable addition to offer as an add-on to the external chassi of the camera. For normal use-cases the less complex passive solution favours something that doesnt add cost/weight/power use.
From the info I sourced on the different pages, some creative commons, share alike? license is to be used for documentation. GPLv3 for software, and cern open hardware license for the metal.
Well, people helping out is a problem apertus does not currently have. It is just me changing things, and for the time being all my work is reverted back to the latest revision that doesnt have my name on it. In terms of access, i had it, and now it has been revoked. Why, i dont know.
Unable to sleep because this really bugs me. Why on earth would i spend days worth of time honing something if I had any malicious intentions? I have my own name and face readily visible on the /team page. Which with the current state of language quality, leaves a foul taste in my mouth.

The issue is explaining what apertus is, and why it is that way.
