Website SEO: Image alt attributes
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

all images should have an alt attribute that describes the image, use keywords like "Apertus Axiom Beta open Hardware Camera"

be more creative than me!

i think SEO best practice is a short sentence with lots of keywords, but it should make sence for humans.

https://www.google.de/search?q=apertus+axiom&tbm=isch
this looks good, but the images should be displayed for more keywords.

It should make sense for blind people.

Edit: Ill run through the website pages looking for pictures without alt-tags.
Edit2: Done.

Thanks!

Is there a way to check the entire page recursively for missing alt tags?

I found this: http://validator.w3.org/checklink?uri=www.apertus.org&hide_type=all&recursive=on&depth=1&check=Check but it only checks links...
