Github has a 3D viewer built in already. It works for STL currently IIRC but I am sure they will expand it for more formats in the future.

What is the weight of the axiom beta without the lens?

For flying I think a combination of a rugged small aluminum framework plus thin 3d printed plastic parts would give the best compromise of robustness at light weight. Basically the same way as aircrafts are constructed.

Making summaries of an ongoing process is indeed difficult, some aspects might be more certain than others already but that can change quickly if there is someone who really pushes for/against a certain aspect. We will try to go more indepth with some things related to the ongoing AXIOM Beta development in the next team talk but keeping a website page or overview text up to date at all times is an impossible sisyphus task I am afraid :)
