My problem with the images now is that its hard to make a relation from the blue images to the actual website.

@sebastian The images that are there are not relevant to conveying this information. Links are blue to emphasize that they are links.
Any changes you want made?

Just had a look...what happened to the images? Why are the links in them blue?
Here are the anonymous survey results (any personal data removed):
Since nobody is assigned and nobody reported any progress here you are free to start working on this. I am sure we will find a native speaker to review the text afterwards.
I have no time to do it currently, so this would really help. Any comment from @sebastian regarding this task ?
Somebody allready does the analysis? I could do it, just need a native englisch speaker for publication. Cheers, phil

Do I understand this task correctly?
I agree we can remove the EULA, its only stating the obvious and nobody reads it anyway.
To be complete, we keep the forum open for archival reasons, but the discussion has completely move to irc, wiki, mailing lists and now lab (not that we decided it, it just happened :-) ).

was not very clear about future - moving pages is ( even for only about one hundered of them ) not a good idea, but trying to put new ones into some sort of structure should be. The challenging question is indeed what to do with pages, that fit into more than one category, but that problem Philipe overcame with the New Main Page.
I dont think that is simple enough to rely on for everyone to just pick up and use. I would see a point in having something besides the proposed structure if things fit into more than one category.
allan, listing the pages on the wiki is exactly no effort, because you have the all Pages. Using namespaces, you can "filter" these Pages, e.g. Project Pages - this one (Apertus Wiki) is built by default, and you can easily define additional namespaces, which can be queried quite intuitively by selecting one of them in the drop down selection.
An effort that lists the pages that are on the wiki at a given time means there is some level of overview into everything. Also it makes for little effort spent organizing, and helps with avoiding errors in structure.

even: I could not imagine an alternative to faders speaking in terms of volume control ( too many sound engineer jobs in the past )
- suggest 4 faders for 4 ( mono ) inputs. Advantage compared to wheels: faster travel speed to correct position ( tenth of seconds with a little practice ).
- suggest keeping the sound part as simple as possible - no pan, no mixing functionality ( use a sound mixing console if desired )
wheels or rotary knobs for for gui control is fine with me, something like a d-pad would be superior for direction control. faders? the only thing i'd use faders for is volume control or to mix signals together. faders for focus pulls are a no go for me. as troy said.. we don't want signal jumps caused by dust for example while shooting a music vid in the desert.. zoom hmm maybe but i think wheels are still a wiser choice.
oh i dont know. i took it for granted.
Do we intend to use dictator for focus pulling?
a fader control seems interesting to me for focus pulling (and other functions) at least to me.
btw, the controllers on this concept version of the dictator, 0,6, look very hard to use for focus pulling to me.

Well yes, menu design and feature design go hand in hand with fixed buttons and the like. Ah ill just plan design for future easier that way.
[personal opinion]following decisions should be made:
