even added a comment to T310: design CAD model of Beta CMV12000 cooling heatpipes part.

i found another bug in the F-mount to CMV12k-V05.ipt
basicly everything that is marked lightblue needs to be moved on the x axis because the mount is not perfectly centered on the sensor when assembled.

2.82mm is the length of the andon pins

ok, does that mean the socket height is 2.82mm as well?
i made a quick drawing. let me know if i got it wrong.

wheels or rotary knobs for for gui control is fine with me, something like a d-pad would be superior for direction control. faders? the only thing i'd use faders for is volume control or to mix signals together. faders for focus pulls are a no go for me. as troy said.. we don't want signal jumps caused by dust for example while shooting a music vid in the desert.. zoom hmm maybe but i think wheels are still a wiser choice.

even updated subscribers of T83: auto focus for manual lenses.

laser triangulation, ir or ultrasonic distance measurement combined with a servo or microstepper attached to a follow focus (example http://www.philipbloom.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/microff_v2_15mm_lg1.jpg ) to adjust the lens focus according to distance. different lenses might need different adjustments.
