create milestone/status overview page of Beta development
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Josh suggested we create an overview showing which part of the project is in which stage at the moment.
The scope is to give a quick overview, not provide too much detail. Another graphic could show the order in which certain developments will be addressed.

He used phabricator as mockup source, I am not sure if we should put effort into making Phabricator do this or it wouldnt be better to do something like this at the top of: https://apertus.org/axiom-beta-roadmap

Thoughts?

I'd suggest to use at least five states (not started, started, good progress, almost finished and finished), otherwise most tasks will hang in the "in progress" state for a long time. Note that the "moon phase" concept and the color coding could be used as well.

OTOH, I'm not the poor soul who has to maintain it, so it's not my decision to make :)

Best,
Herbert

Max, can you give the status images a title/alt tag containing their status description: "concepting, finished, etc."?

For the "Hardware/Miscellaneous" items please unify the distances before the long text block. Maybe the boards can also have their almost white but not transparent background removed? Also unify the distances before the images there.
