Several options/ideas:

• loading of file by dragging it into the viewer (like https://gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com/) - no online storage
• supplying model URL as GET parameter in URL (then models could be in github repo or anywhere else)
• DAT GUI window on the left handside where you can choose from different parts/objects/assemblies
