I recently purchased the newest one of MAKE magazine (I think its newest.. actually there may be a newer one now)
Anyways it has relevant info/reviews on 3d printers both professional and hobbyist that may be of interest to users. It includes reviews and comparison pictures of their own prints using the printers. Its quite a good read if you are looking.
